Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but what I understand, the simpler the note is, the easier it should be to later transfer it into another software. It may not be perfect, but to me, it beats indecision. So how do I chose? I know I'd be forever deciding on a perfect app as a way to procrastinate, so I applied Oakham Razor's logic and just went with the simplest solution. Typora seemed to be very basic, perhaps too basic for Zettelkasten. But what do I know? I've got no programming background. That's what I tried to do, but I've found dozen of apps and everyone has a very good reason to use their particular one and not the other ones.

My problem is that I cannot interlink zettels in Typora, which seems odd. There are more than 100 alternatives to Typora for a variety of platforms, including Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone and Android. It has support for tables, various font families and nested unordered lists. Of all the note-taking apps I’ve tried this has one of the strongest editors.
Now, one of the key features of ZK is the linking together which is described in the "Introduction to the Zettelkasten Method" under the subheading "Connecting Zettel". Typora is a minimalist note-taking app available for desktop only. I'm a Windows user, so I cannot use The Archive, instead, I opted for Typora. However, I have got a technical issue that I haven't found addressed anywhere on this website or on the internet. Second, I'm just starting with ZK, but I think I grasped the idea. It's much appreciated for me as a starting ZK enthusiast. First, thank you for such superb information.
